We are asked all the time what is the difference between all these online terms?  There are domain names, registered name, web hosting, url, and many others.  How do they all work together?

We will break it down for you in this way:

First you need a domain name which is what goes in between the www. (domain name) . com and this is called your URL.  You have to register that name so it is called the registered domain name.  Simple huh?

Next you need a place to store the web site files that are created for you by Create a YES, LLC.   This place is called web hosting.  It is simply a folder the registered domain name look to and pulls the pages up to the viewers browser.  Still simple yet?

If you look at it like going to a library, knowing the title of the book, then going to the card file and finding it.  Then after that it tells you where it is located, you go find the book, and after that you open the book to see the pages.  It is virtually the same thing!

Ok… Now aside from explaining how these things work together, our main objective for this blog post is to show you what type of hosting features we have to offer you!
